Asset labels created to your design

Asset labels are not only a security item but can be used to promote your company. They can be designed so as to have the company logo and colours imprinted on them, so that if the item is say owned by a plant hire company, when being used by the hirer, the company name is prominent to passers by.

Property of labels

The use of labels to identify property has long been in use, but the tradition has been for these to be of metal with the information embossed onto the label. The label was then attached to the asset with a metal wire or maybe riveted on. Whilst those that were riveted on could not easily be removed, the ones attached with wire could be removed with a pair of wire cutters and the asset was no longer secure. The labels of today may be made of metal, acrylic or plastic and will have an adhesive that will attach the label to the asset and thus increase the security element. The label can contain whatever detail is required to identify the product and its ownership.

Secure labels

These labels are created without a printing process to further increase the security. The information that is required is etched on and thus becomes indelible. They will be manufactured from a multi-layered acrylic material with a specialised adhesive backing that means they cannot be prized off of the asset they are attached to. Through the etching process it is not possible t deface the label and the coating that is placed over the asset will add a further layer of security. Due to the type of material they are made from there is flexibility to the label and they can be securely attached to round and cylindrical items.

Security is now a matter that ranks high in the priority list of all companies that includes the security of assets. By using specially prepared labels the protection level that you can give to your assets is increased.
