A woman named Michelle Perl who lost her mother to cancer get back on her feet after the tragic family loss in a unique way- cosplay. She got two
cosplay costumesbased on Metroid: Zero Mission and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and dressed like the
characters. "Sometimes, even a fictional character is enough to give you a powerful dose of inner strength," she says. Perl hopes that others will use her story to
motivate themselves in unique ways.
Her story is quite inspirational. Though, just make sure you don't choose to cosplay as a character like Dan or King Hippo. That might not end up quite as
successfully. If you have your favorite characters from the comics books, cartoon, movies or anime, you can imitate them with cosplay costumes and other accessories
