T.30 and T.30E Fax Control Protocol Software Targeted for Fax Application

Toronto, Canada – GAO Research Inc. (www.GAOResearch.com) is offering its T.30 fax control protocol software. It implements ITU-T T.30 Recommendation, which is a procedure for document facsimile transmission in the general switched telephone network. GAO’s T.30 software is targeted for fax applications as handshaking protocol.
This T.30 fax control protocol software establishes and manages communications between two fax modems. There are five phases of operation covering call set up, pre message procedure (selecting the communication mode), message transmission (including phasing and synchronization), post message procedure and call release.
GAO’s T.30E software implements the procedure for Group 3 (G3 fax) document fax transmission of continuous-tone color images. T.30E enables the efficient transmission of high quality, full color and gray-scale images over GSTNs and other networks.
This fax control protocol software belongs to GAO’s family of Fax software. This line includes a wide variety of fax software products with different bit rates such as V.34 Fax Modem Software (maximum bit rate of 33.6 Kbps), V.29 Fax Software (maximum bit rate of 9.6 Kbps) and other similar products. This line also includes AT Fax Command Set, T.30 Fax Control Protocol Software and T.38 Fax Relay Software. The embedded fax software has been integrated and tested with fax data pumps that provide interfaces to PCM data.
